About The Festival
Welcome to Oxtoberfest, Oxford's beloved German-themed celebration that brings the spirit of Bavaria to Uptown Oxford!
Now in its 5th annual year, this free, family-friendly festival turns Main & High into a vibrant fall playground featuring German and local brews, hearty autumn fare, live entertainment, artisan vendors, and fun for all ages.
Oxtoberfest is Oxford's signature autumn event. From stein-holding challenges and classic polkas to pumpkin decorating, bouncy houses, and games, we invite residents and visitors alike to revel in a day of fall magic, laughter, and tradition.

Throughout Oxtoberfest, visit our special Ukraine section, hosted by Miami University’s Havighurst Center for East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies.
Explore activities, displays, and information designed to help visitors of all ages learn more about Ukraine and its people, culture, and traditions. T
his year’s celebration is especially meaningful as we welcome six delegates from Oxford’s sister city of Dubno, Ukraine, who will be joining us at Oxtoberfest as part of their visit to Oxford.
Sister City Flag-Raising Ceremony
Celebrating Oxford & Dubno at 3 PM
Join us at 3:00 PM for a special flag-raising ceremony celebrating the friendship between Oxford, Ohio, and our sister city of Dubno, Ukraine.
Together with our visiting delegation from Dubno, we will raise the Dubno flag alongside Oxford’s special commemorative flag, created in honor of this historic visit.
We invite the community to gather with us for this special moment recognizing the connection and growing friendship between our two cities.

Can’t make it to Cincinnati for the game?
Cheer on the RedHawks from Oxtoberfest! Head to the RedHawk Sports Zone on West Park Place, where we’ll livestream Miami University’s annual Battle for the Victory Bell against the University of Cincinnati on a giant outdoor screen.
Grab some food and a drink, wear your red and white, and settle in to watch one of college football’s oldest rivalries right from Uptown Oxford.
